9 Colours of Fall

It's that time of year again, season change. We move from the warm, sunny days to cold, dark nights. There is one upside though, new season means new trends. Different shoes, shirts, sweaters, jackets, boots... the list goes on. When shopping this new season you can't help but buy the new trends, but don't forget about those minor details too.

I have no problem buying new shoes and clothes. For me the hard part is going down the cosmetic aisle and worse the nail aisle. So many brands, brushes, colours and shades of colours I find it overwhelming! So, what colours for nails are in this fall?

According to Glamour Beauty here are the top 9 nail polish colours for fall:

1. Navy Blue

It is a nice deep, dark colour for those who like to shy away from anything too bright. It also falls closer in the black shades which is a nice change from all the bright, colourful nalils seen this summer. It's a good colour if you are wanting something to give you a bit more of that edge.

2. Purple/Plum

This colour allows for a more versatile look because any shade of purple is in. Whether you go for a more of a bright lilac or a deep plum, it is definitely an eye catching colour. Purple will keep the colour in for fall, especially if you aren't looking forward to putting your bright tank tops to the bottom of the drawer!

3. Blood Red

Again, like the navy blue it is a darker, deeper colour. This one reminds me of fall colours and the leaves turning red. It's a colour that will look good with just about everything. With leather boots and jackets coming out for fall as well this colour will coordinate perfectly with them.

4. Nude

Personally, one of my favourite colours. Barely there to notice, yet still visible. I like the classy, feminine appeal to it. It's also a nice light colour for those dreading the dark months ahead.

5. Chocolate Brown

Very close to nude, yet quite a bit deeper and richer of a colour. Yet again, reminds me of the fall colours. I think it has a nice combination of class and edge. Once again, it would look great with those leathers in your closet.

6. Gray

Another neutral colour, but this one I think brings more attention. It would work with any outfit and any colour, yet still stand out. I haven't seen many, if any women try this colour but I think it would also be another great colour for the leathers.

7. Teal

I love this colour. It's a nice balance of colour and darkness. Very eye catching and works great in the summer and fall months. Has a very chic look to it.

8. Burnt Orange

This is a great colour for fall and resembles the leaves flawlessly. It is softer, less vibrant than the original orange colour. It's almost as if a red has been blended into it. It's perfect for those of you who can't decide between a polish with colour or more of a neutral shade.

9. Metallic Chrome

This is colour provides you with the most edge and uniqueness. Extreme shine and a neutral colour make this polish hard to miss. Something about it just catches your eye, plus it will match anything in your closet. It's a nice change from all the sparkles in the summer.

These fall colours provide you with lots of variety to choose from. Can't decide? Try them all at one point. We do have another 6 moths or so of this chilly weather.

Which one will you try?
