Wreck-It Ralph

Now I know that some people think that being in University makes you too old to still be watching animated movies but I for one still absolutely love them! Some of my favorites include How To Train You Dragon,  Shrek and Tangled! An new animated movie that has recently been released that I'm really excited to see is Wreck-It Ralph.

Wreck-It Ralph is a movie about a video game character named Ralph who in almost every video game has to play the villain. Ralph is tired of always having to be the villain and for once in his life wants to do something good in his life. So Ralph sets out to help people rather than harm them and to be able to be the hero for once in his life. Along the way he meets a few other crazy characters Fix-It Felix, Jr. and Vanellope Von Schweetz.

Both of these characters seem like there going to be extremely funny, cute and entertaining to watch. I personally can't wait to see this movie! I feel like its been awhile since an actual decent animated movie has come out. A lot of kids movies these days in my opinion seem to dumb down the story of the movie for lots of kids. I think that a good animated movie is a movie that the whole family can sit down and watch together. Wreck-It Ralph may be that movie! I recommend that you go watch the trailer of this movie to see whether or not you agree with me! The link to this trailer can be found HERE!

So do any of you think that you'll go see Wreck-It Ralph? And if not why?

Toodles!

  1. Hey Mariam,

I actually don't mind animated movies. I have seen Tangled, Shrek, How to Train Your Dragon, Rango and Despicable Me recently, which are among my favorites. However, animated movies are never on the top of my list to watch. I never plan on watching them, it just sort of happens. So right now I don't see myself watching this movie, but in the future it just may happen. I would much rather go see an action movie or a comedy. I don't think I would ever pay to go see an animated movie, I would just wait till it is on TV. However, this movie does look like it has really cute characters and good animation so I wouldn't be totally opposed to watching it in theaters.
Let me know how it is if you go and see it!

  2. Hi Mariam,
I actually went to see the new James Bond movie last weekend, but it was sold out...so my friends and I decided to go see Wreck It Ralph instead. Best decision ever!!! This movie is awesome (in my opinion and my friends, and brother, and sisters, and parents ahaha). Noting that it's made by the producers of Despicable Me, if you've seen it, should tell you how great a movie it is. I, personally won't ever be too old to enjoy animated movies. I think it keeps the kid in me alive and thriving so I don't become a crude old lady lol. But seriously, GO SEE THE MOVIE, you won't regret it :)
