This past weekend in Las Vegas at an iHeartRadio festival, while starting her performance in the middle of the crowd, Taylor Swift's dress strap comes undone and falls to her front. Rather than exposing a bra or something possibly worse, her malfunction only exposes another shirt! That's right, her wardrobe resulted in no embarrassment or criticism, but rather pride and support. I mean how can you criticize a singer for wearing a backup shirt during a performance?
When Taylor Swift realized what had happened she had no sign of concern on her face, but rather continued on with her performance and casually tucked in the strap before she walked on stage. After she finished the song she quickly exited to the backstage where they attempted to fix the dress. With no luck, Taylor Swift smoothly returned on stage with the backup shirt on and a pair of black shorts, which had apparently been under her dress as well.
Leave it to Taylor Swift to do a wardrobe malfunction rated G. I for one love her as a singer and even if I didn't a stunt like this would have to gain my respect for her. She only continues to make a positive image for herself.

ReplyDeleteHow hilarious! Good for Taylor Swift. I completely agree with you; Taylor Swift is a great role model and a highly respectable artist. I hope that in the future, she is able to withhold her current "good girl" status.
Do you think that she will be able to?
I definitely think she will. She has come so far in such little time and I think she is past that stage where she can get drawn into all the negativity. She has a good head on her shoulders.
ReplyDeleteI like the fact that this girl has some class! A nice change from the other stars out there! I think this is what will keep her reputation positive and her career excelling if she continues on this path. I guess you could say this is her marketing strategy - differentiating herself from the rest!
