Justin and Selena: Together or Not?

This is a question that has been driving popular media sites, such as Perez Hilton, for the last week. It seems everyday there is a new story surrounding their on-again, off-again relationship. The news that the popular couple had decided to call it quits within the past weeks broke just over a week ago, according to a source close to the couple. At first there was much speculation about the claim, as it seems the two have split several times throughout their relationship, but this time it seemed to be true and it wasn't long until the media decided to get involved.

After the breakup, rumors began to swirl about what caused such a sudden decision between the two, and almost no one involved with the couple was left "uninvolved." The first rumored cause of the split was Justin's involvement with Victoria's Secret model, Barbara Palvin. After Selena tweeted a picture of the two with the caption, "......" many began to wonder if jealousy had caused the two to go separate ways. Barbara wasn't the only young star that was quickly blamed for the breakup, Miley Cyrus was next. The next source came forward claiming that Selena was absolutely disgusted by her fellow Disney star, and that she could have reason for the breakup, as another reported breakup had been caused by Justin's involvement with Miley on the MTV series Punk'd. The next breakup rumor turned the jealousy page over to Justin himself, claiming that he was absolutely furious when he saw a photo of Selena kissing her Parental Guidance Suggested costar, Nat Wolff. Although the photo was obviously taken on set, it had apparently caused enough drama to cause an issue. These rumors continued to swirl, but it wasn't long until reconciliation rumors began to contradict the breakup.

A few days after the news broke, it only took a few days for rumors to begin circulating that the two had headed toward a reconciliation. The first rumor claimed that the two had decided to have an "intense" conversation to try and work things out. After reports that Selena couldn't stand to be near her ex-boyfriend, cancelling her appearance at the American Music Awards, another source claimed to have seen the two meeting at the Beverly Hills Hotel for a private dinner date, photos quickly surfaced to support the claims. The joyous reconciliation once again didn't last long, when Selena reportedly stormed out of their dinner date after a heated argument. Despite claims that Selena had decided not to go to the American Music Awards, due to her breakup, it turned out that the two attended the after party together, looking like a couple that were much in love with each other. One more meeting was caught by the paparazzi, with their relationship currently on good terms, according to the media.

Personally, I think this whole situation is really no one elses business and the two should be left alone to deal with whatever issues, if any, that they have in their relationship. Even though being famous comes with the several costs, including the paparazzi, there are some points of an individuals life that should be allowed to be kept a secret. Both Selena and Justin, are young stars who deserve the privacy of their relationships, as I am sure the situation would be hard enough to deal with, without being in the public eye.
