Guess what!? Breaking Dawn: Part 2 is coming out on
November 16th, 2012. I know
it’s probably a tad bit early to be blogging about this upcoming vampire movie,
but I can hardly contain my excitement!
The earlier movies in the series were Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn: Part 1. For
all of these movies, the girls in my family, along with our friends, have watched the premiers at Eau
Claire market.
There is nothing better than getting together a bunch of girls (plus maybe one brave boy), munching
on some delectable popcorn and watching Bella and Edward’s love story unfold!

I read Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight
series in Junior High, and absolutely fell in love with them. I would literally stay up until three or
four o’clock on a school night, just so I could move forward a couple of
chapters. Never before have I read a book that was so intriguing, and so emotionally captivating. I was definitely addicted to the series, and have now
read each book at least four times. Just
talking about Breaking Dawn part two
makes me want to read them all over again; right after I finish reading the series
50 Shades of Grey that is. Stephenie
Meyer is honestly my hero. Stephenie is an extraordinary writer, and has created a huge phenomenon because of a dream that she had. How crazy!
Embarrassingly enough, I actually own at least five Twilight t-shirts. In my defense though, my mother bought all of them for me. “Where” is a question that may come to mind? My mother purchased these t-shirts at Walmart and/or the clothing store Stiches. In grade nine, my hobby was actually collecting Twilight posters. I then used these posters to cover every square inch of my bedroom walls. I finally decided to remove these posters in grade eleven, due to the fact that I out grew them. Instead of the Twilight posters, I now have a single Eminem poster behind my door, which is much cooler in my opinion. My mother, believe it or not, is actually a bigger twihard fan then I am. She always has been, and probably always will be. At one point, my father became extremely frustrated with her, as she attempted to put a framed photo of Edward Cullen in their bedroom. Gasp. I would have probably been annoyed too, if I was her husband. Better yet though, my father could have retaliated by putting up a picture of Bella Swan.

A couple years ago, at the Calgary Expo,
my family was actually lucky enough to meet Peter Facinelli, who plays Edward’s father, Carlisle Cullen, and some of
the other actors of Twilight. Unfortunately, Robert Pattinson and
Taylor Lautner were not there. If they were, my mother and I would have
been Team Edward, whereas my sister would have been Team Jacob. Jacob’s (Taylor Lautner’s)
voice is a little too high pitched for my liking. Although, he does have
a much better physic then rival Edward (Robert Pattinson).

I am exceptionally
interested to see whether or not director, Bill Condon will be able to create a somewhat
realistic movie. This, I’m sure will probably prove to be a difficult
task. I can’t wait to see the progression of actors that are going to
play Edward and Bella’s baby, Renesemee. She is supposed to be absolutely
breathtakingly beautiful, not to mention she grows more and more every
day. I also am anxious to see the fight between the Volturi clan and the
Cullen’s. The series/movies all ultimately a lead up to this scene.
The other movies in the series did not cease to disappoint, and I have the same
high hopes for Breaking Dawn: Part 2. I can't wait! It's
going to be AMAZING!
