A new season of Two and a Half Men is here and Ashton Kutcher is back at it replacing Charlie Sheen. When it was first announced that Charlie Sheen had been fired from the show everyone thought that Two and a Half Men had seen the last of its days as a TV show. That was until Ashton Kutcher came along to replace Charlie sheen.

I was very skeptical when I found out that Ashton Kutcher was going to be replacing Charlie Sheen because I couldn’t imagine seeing Ashton taking the role of Charlie Harper. The way Charlie acted in the show was the way he acted in real life and that couldn’t be duplicated. Charlie Sheen and Jon Cryer had special chemistry between each other which made the show the way it is today and that’s what kept the viewers coming back for more. Half the reason why I watched the show was because I enjoyed watching Charlie’s crazy antics and funny remarks. That’s why so many viewers loved the show because it was 30 minutes of non-stop comedy.

After watching the first episode that Ashton starred in I was very surprised that the show was actually quite humorous but in a different way then when Charlie Harper was in the house. Ashton plays the new character of Walden Schmidt, a billionaire who is coming off a rough divorce. His character seems to blend well in the story because he’s rich so Alan Harper still clings on him so he can have a home to live in and Walden has some similar characteristics to Charlie when it comes to picking up women. Overall I think they did a good job replacing Charlie Sheen with Ashton but the show will never be the same as it used to be in my opinion.

The first episode of season 10 was a little dry for me but for some reason I still want to watch the next episode. It may be because I am a die-hard fan of the show or that I hope deep down the show can become as good as it once was.

What do you think of Ashton Kutcher replacing Charlie Sheen in Two and a Half Men? Have you been following the show since Sheen left the show?
